The NHG tran­si­tional year res­i­dency pro­gramme will give you an oppor­tu­nity to start off your med­ical careers in 2 hos­pi­tals dis­tin­guished in the tra­di­tions of train­ing. The col­le­gial staff at Tan Tock Seng and the new Khoo Teck Puat Hos­pi­tals value your devel­op­ment both as a doc­tor and as a mem­ber of a our family.

Here we will pro­vide broad-based train­ing in core med­ical and sur­gi­cal com­pe­ten­cies, as well as oppor­tu­ni­ties to explore var­i­ous spe­cial­ties at a greater depth. You will ben­e­fit from the close inter­ac­tion with super­vi­sors and senior res­i­dents; and have a wide vari­ety of oppor­tu­ni­ties to train in top­ics such as patient safety, com­mu­ni­ca­tions and team work, Evi­denced Based Med­i­cine and other.
