Dr Chuah Khoon Leong, Pro­gram Direc­tor, TTSH

Dr Chuah Khoon Leon is a senior con­sul­tant in the Dept of Pathol­ogy. He is a fel­low of the Royal Col­lege of Pathol­o­gists of Aus­trala­sia (RCPA) and the Amer­i­can Soci­ety of Clin­i­cal Pathol­o­gists. He under­stud­ied Pro­fes­sor Thomas Colby at the Mayo Clinic, Scotts­dale, USA in pul­monary pathol­ogy from 2001–2002. His other areas of inter­est include soft tis­sue and bone pathol­ogy and haematopathol­ogy. He cur­rently has over 50 sci­en­tific pub­li­ca­tions in inter­na­tional peer reviewed jour­nals and is an edi­to­r­ial board mem­ber of Pathol­ogy (RCPA jour­nal) and Sin­ga­pore Med­ical Jour­nal. He has been an exam­iner with the Royal Col­lege of Pathol­o­gists of Aus­trala­sia since 2005 and is an active mem­ber of the Joint Com­mit­tee for Spe­cial­ist Train­ing (Histopathol­ogy Sec­tion). He takes a per­sonal inter­est in teach­ing and is involved in tutor­ing both anatomic pathol­ogy res­i­dents and under­grad­u­ate students.

Dr Lee Hwei Yee, Core Fac­ulty Mem­ber, TTSH

Dr Lee Hwei Yee is a Con­sul­tant pathol­o­gist in the Depart­ment of Pathol­ogy, Tan Tock Seng Hos­pi­tal, with a spe­cial inter­est in neu­ropathol­ogy, hav­ing been trained in Path­west Neu­ropathol­ogy, Depart­ment of Anatom­i­cal Pathol­ogy, Royal Perth Hos­pi­tal in Aus­tralia for 2 years. Besides neu­ropathol­ogy, her areas of inter­est include renal pathol­ogy and oph­thalmic pathol­ogy. She is regarded as an excel­lent teacher and men­tor by the res­i­dents in the depart­ment, given her abil­ity to impart abstract knowl­edge in the dif­fi­cult areas of Anatomic Pathol­ogy in a pleas­ant and gen­tle manner.

Dr Bernard Ho, Core Fac­ulty Mem­ber, TTSH

Dr Bernard Ho is a Con­sul­tant pathol­o­gist at the Depart­ment of Pathol­ogy, Tan Tock Seng Hos­pi­tal with a spe­cial inter­est in breast pathol­ogy hav­ing trained under Pro­fes­sor Ian Ellis at Not­ting­ham Uni­ver­sity Hos­pi­tal. His other areas of inter­est include soft tis­sue and skin pathol­ogy. He has been involved in award win­ning research since an under­grad­u­ate and cur­rently holds sev­eral research grants. His great abil­ity to teach well and per­form high qual­ity research will tremen­dously ben­e­fit res­i­dents who choose the pathol­ogy res­i­dency pro­gram in TTSH.
